Bullying in Schools

Bullying in schools is a problem in schools elementary-college. It's a severe problem that can have a negative and sever consequence. I personally have strong feelings about bullying in schools and was very active in High School on trying to prevent in schools in my town and surrounding towns. We had a kid in my eighth grade class take his own life because he said he was bullied too much and couldn't take it. To see the consequence first hand really had an impact on not only my life but our whole community. Bullying is comprised of direct behaviors such as teasing, taunting, threatening, hitting, and stealing that are initiated by one or more students against a victim. In addition to direct attacks, bullying may also be more indirect by causing a student to be socially isolated through intentional exclusion.

I think that it is very important to make people aware of bullying and let kinds know that there are people to talk to in case they are the victims or a bully. It does have a negative impact on students not only while they are young, but even as adults.
